The Hermanus Squash Club boasts with 4 state-of-the-art squash courts offering players the best facilities in the Overberg. The standard and quality of squash in Hermanus is very high and the 100+ members includes a number of senior and junior provincial players.

Offering a world-class facility for our junior and senior members and those from all communities who enjoy a friendly, sociable environment that produces players competing at the highest level and anyone who just loves the sport and the camaraderie we share.

Bookings & Court Access

Cost is R15 per court (45mins) for the lights. Additional R45 is payable per visitor (i.e Two visitors pay a combined fee of R105).

We do not accept cash and electronic payments can be made to the Squash Club Bank account. We also have SnapScan available at the club. Please refer to detailed booking rules and procedure: https://www.hermanussport.co.za/terms.html 

You will receive a booking report at the end of each month with the amount due. Payments in advance will be preferred to cover an adequate number of bookings for the month.

Members receive a unique access code to access the courts upon joining the club.

Social Squash

We have organised social squash every Tuesday and Thursday between 16:45-19:00. R15 is charged per player and guests are welcome. This is a great way to get to know more members and invite visitors to our lovely facilities!

On Mondays we have a ladies night where we invite ladies of all ages to help promote ladies squash at the club.

We encourage members to mingle and arrange matches against different opponents in order to create a healthy social culture.

League

Club championships are normally played in November, which will determine a ladder in order to pick league teams. We call upon all regular league players to commit to their teams for home and away games.

Juniors/Development

We take the development of young squash players very seriously and invest in our juniors’ future. Our resident coach Jonathan Just from Just Squash works very hard to keep a high standard and encourage kids from all ages to fall in love with the game of squash. As a result we have a very strong group of players representing Boland and doing very well on national level. With your support we can go to even greater heights. The club’s future is looking very bright!

Advertising and Sponsorship

We give opportunity to local businesses by securing exclusive advertising space giving them maximum exposure to regular playing members and guests visiting the club. We also have options to sponsor tournaments, contribute to junior development, and donate to any worthy cause promoting the wellbeing of the club. Various packages are available so get in contact with our committee if you want to make use of this opportunity.
